level 400 when
On the horizon. Cernium is Lv 260 and 265, and we have at least two more authentic force slots. Hotel Arcus is Lv. 270 and maybe 275, which is presumably the second authentic force map. Then we will have another new map for lv. 280 and 285. Similar to Tenebris of Black Mage, we might have three new maps for lv. 290, 295, and 300, finished with a boss, definitely not Darmoor, but maybe an apostle like Havoc. Just to repeat a cycle like this twice more, we will get to Lv. 380. It would be a good time to release Darmoor with 4 new maps from Lv. 380 to 400. Anyway, this game is trapped in the loop of releasing new storylines, new maps, new forces, and new caps (of level, damage, and meso) without any thinking.
good stuff
can the safety charm remove an applied penalty? or does it have to be in your inventory to prevent it?
Yes you have to use the Safety Charm after you get the penalty applied to remove it.
Does the penalty still tick down even if you log out of disconnect?
Also do we know the formula for character level = penalty timer for penalty?
Yes
So what is the exact penalty? Is there a table somewhere that shows them for each level?
No idea, at lvl 225 it was about 41 minutes
wait, you just said that you know the formula for the penalty timer….what is it then?
No the yes was to the question if it ticks down while offline lol, wordpress comment formatting is just weird
It seems Cernium doesn’t seem to be part of any known continent; is the 260 area is before the Glory Guard Event and the 265 during or after?
I believe they just split the story from Glory into two parts, one for 260 and one for 265. After you finish all the story quests, I guess you just stay in the destroyed “Burning Cernium” (can go back to the original Cernium at any time though)
Speaking of, what do the new images mean then? It seems like the story was changed based on them.
I don’t think they changed anything, they just added some additional scenes probably. They did the same when Tenebris was added as a permanent area.
archer with dark sight? Hmmmm……
Angelic Buster’s Soul Resonance’s damage has been decreased from 730% to 146%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 5, finish attack’s damage has been decreased from 3000% to 600%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 5.
Not bad, kinda weird to lower the % this low so it becomes a lot harder to cap. Since the finale ribbon got changed to 10 hits with 400%, this at least fixes the last 4th job skill that AB only did 1 line since celestial roar was updated to 4 lines not too long ago. Sucks to see the low line, high % go away from this class but it is for the better since she caps too early and lacks lines for later bosses. Now if only they made trinity movable and soul seeker stronger.
To add on, I wish they moved the 30% crit rate away from her lv 200 hyper and moved to passive so she has decently high crit rate base. And melody cross needs 1 more attack speed since it’s strange that they are only class that doesn’t have a +2 active booster.
the new boss is irrelevant?
any updates on shadowers?
About the link skill of Kain, it is likely, that Nexon wrote something wrong: Instead of hit a boss 9, or 17 times, it should be hit a boss 5 times for both levels, according to the Wz files.
Those are the numbers that it shows in-game
Thanks for your reply. I mean it seems a typo of the in-game description by Nexon. The description is generated by a function with 6 arguments: #x for the number of enemies killed, #y for the number of hitting boss monsters, #w for the number of preparations, #time for the duration of this buff, #y AGAIN for damage%, and #cooltime for cooldown time. It is weird they use #y twice, while another argument #u, which is constantly 5, is not used anywhere but listed in the Wz files.
I am curious if there is any test if we do need hit a boss monster 17 times to complete 1 preparation, or it is actually 5 but the description does not match the real.
A minor typo. Kain 4th job skill: Dragon Scale: Consumes 4% max MP per second, instead of HP.
fixed!
Thanks Neo
Hm…lvl300…this is bad
Does Kain also play like the last few new classes that force you to change to another skill because of a cooldown? I’m getting kinda tired of that mechanic (and don’t get why they don’t just make the classes work like TB or Mercedes if they’re going for chaining skills together). So just curious if anyone knows if Kain is the same.
Any idea on when hotel arcus will come out?
Jan. 28. It is likely to be added to the test server on Jan 21.
Does the death penalty decrease meso gain or just drop?
Patch notes just say drop rate
Feels like nexon is cutting corners, by splitting cernium into lv260 and 265 instead of just one.
Training so hard from lv260 to 265 just to be met with a similar map with similar mobs, kinda a downer.
Kain looks like tangmen from soul land
Horntail and PinkBean boss death buff… REMOVED! WHY NEXON!?
Nexon’s response: F. YOU ALL! THAT’S WHY!
1st mr. lees wilderness hunter buff now this rip +40wa 😦
Yeah dude, Nexon is starting to behave like the pirates Capital One is suppose to protect us from. Arh me Matees, what’s in your wallet?
Sweet more damage on soul resonance is a good thing since Angelic Buster is becoming more DPS than hard hitter.
That archer…And I was thinking Path Finder was edgy but this is super edge lord.
Nice to now use the quick move to sell those boss gems.
Level 300 and now more arcane items do eruk me a bit but at the same time the after effects will be good but….Jeebus..
Thank you for the updates.
Do you guys know if Kain and other Novas will share a cash shop?
what does it give legion wise?
