KMST ver. 1.2.143 – Cygnus Remaster Skill Changes
A new test world patch was released as scheduled, with some more changes to the Cygnus remaster skills, as well as the updated story. The patch also includes more QoL improvements and the events we will be getting (which will be covered next week).
Shortly afterwards, the director Won-ki did a live video on YouTube addressing some of the main complaints people had with this patch, such as the new Hyper Burning event’s rewards being lackluster and the new Cygnus voices being too meme-y and bad.
KMST ver. 1.2.142 – MapleStory Ignition Showcase & Cygnus Remaster
Yesterday, the MapleStory Ignition Showcase took place where they talked about the stuff coming this summer! Afterwards, the test world was opened with the initial changes of the Cygnus Remaster.
For the skill changes, the patch notes were a little vague this time around for some reason and I was also pretty busy this weekend so I’m just going to translate them as they were given and only give additional detail for the newly added skills. The patch notes also were missing some of the skills that were updated so I added those in where I noticed them. Some of the skill changes were actually quite extensive but I didn’t have a chance to fully cover them, so I’m thinking I will continue to just translate the patch notes like this and then when the changes are pushed to the official server, I’ll do a full skill translation just like I did with the Adventurer Remaster to make it easier to understand.
KMS ver. 1.2.365 – 7000 Days of MapleStory!
This patch contains the expansions to Mu Lung Dojo and Union, as well as various QoL improvements and changes. There’s also new events, including one celebrating 7000 days of MapleStory and one to prepare for the summer update Ignition!
KMST ver. 1.2.141 – Dojo & Union Changes
A new test server patch was released today, including the previously mentioned expansions to both Mu Lung Dojo and the Union system, as well as various other changes that were discussed at the Maple Live Talk.
Discussion Board Developer Comments (May 4, 2022)
The discussion board topic of “opinions about reorganizing the official homepage guides for new and returning players” has ended and the developers have shared their thoughts.
Just a quick note because I think it might be a bit unclear and people have misunderstood before: only the blurb at the beginning is written by the developers. All of the top 10 opinions, supporting comments, and opposing comments are summarized from all of the things that players have posted.
