KMS ver. 1.2.373 – MapleStory Savior: Khali, the Wind of Revenge!

The second patch of the MapleStory Savior update has been released, featuring the new job Khali, the Wind of Revenge, a High-Lef thief class. They also added the next 5 weeks of the Wongstaurant’s Special Menu events.

Improvements

Skills

Certain summon skills have been improved so that they are no longer cancelled after exiting Chicken Dance, Eagle Hunting, and Totem Slash.

Alleviated an issue with certain skills where the first time casting them after logging in, the client would slow down. The affected skills are as follows.

  • Night Walker: Dominion, Rapid Throw
  • Flame Wizard: Cataclysm

Lara

  • Dragon Vein Traces: This skill has been changed back to its previous specifications from before the December 22 update.

Developer’s Notes:

In the December 22 update, we changed Dragon Vein Traces’ logic to that Lara would have more stable combat.

However, as a result of carefully checking players’ feedback and combat logs over the past month, we confirmed that there was no major change in combat stability and it caused unintended inconvenience to players who were already used to the existing method, so we have reverted the changes.

So what is the story, and how does she tie in to the other Grandis classes?

TL;DR: it talks about the caste system of the High Lefs (she was born from commoner parents but had magic which is considered a ‘sin’ and so she would have been put to death so her parents sent her away to be raised by one of the Priest class citizens.) She rises the ranks to become a member of the Lord’s personal guard and then she (unknowingly) has to capture her family for the sin of harboring a mutant. Also connected to Kain’s story because it [SPOILERS] reveals the identity of Kain’s antagonist [SPOILERS].

[SPOILERS] Upsilon, the one that killed Khali’s entire family, is Dr. Y, and is one of Darmoor’s apostles. [SPOILERS]
