KMS ver. 1.2.410 – MapleStory Crown: Kinesis Remaster!
The first patch of the MapleStory Crown update has been released! The main features include the Kinesis remaster, tons various game improvements and quality of life changes, and Challenge World season 3. This time, there’s an extra Challenge World-exclusive season boss, Kai!
Sorry for the post being late, this patch came out a week and a half ago but since there were only a few days inbetween the KMST and KMS release, I didn’t have enough time to do a KMST post (as I mentioned before) so I had to translate everything all at once (and there was a lot in these patch notes). Then I was busy playing the actual game and other assorted holiday stuff lol.

Read more…2025 MapleStory Winter Showcase – Crown!
The winter showcase for the winter update, Maplestory Crown, took place yesterday! The main features were a new 6th job common skill for bossing, not one, not two, but three new bosses, and the Kinesis remaster!
The test server also opened up shortly afterwards, but I think this time, I’m going to skip the KMST post since the first official server patch is in a few days so there isn’t much time in-between. This post will just be an overview of what was revealed at the showcase.

The newest live server patch features the second anime collaboration, MapleStory X One Punch Man! Almost exactly one year after Demon Slayer, this event features a limited-time job, Saitama, as well as various events and cosmetics. The patch also includes some more skill balancing and QoL changes.
The winter showcase Crown is coming up on December 13! Looking forward to seeing what the winter update will bring 🙂

The official server has been updated with the Wild Hunter remaster, as well as skill changes to other jobs, and the new World Archive system!
Like I mentioned before, this post was late because I was in LA for MapleCon last week. I think everyone knows how it went lol, kinda crazy how bad it was considering how much more expensive tickets were this year. Hopefully, Nexon can learn from their (many) mistakes and improve next time…?
Read more…KMST ver. 1.2.194 – Surprise Wild Hunter Remaster!
Together with the previously expected skill changes for the remaining jobs (plus some additional changes to jobs touched in previous patches), they suddenly revealed the Wild Hunter remaster! There’s also the new World Archive system, which is actually really cute haha. There’s so much detail, new illustrations, and charming backstories as well as nostalgic throwbacks (for example, Chief Stan’s entry states that you definitely shouldn’t help with his request to deliver a letter, the previous person who accepted got stuck somewhere and never came back!)
Next week, I’ll be in LA for MapleCon so no post for the live server patch until I come back the week after probably!
