When this patch came, the first thing I did was go through the Cross Hunter quests of course! I did the event quests too~ Thus, I got 6 new medals! The four medals from Cross Hunter, the Alliance Member medal, and the Hero of 620,000 medal! New chairs as well! The Red Design Chair and Brown Sand Bunny Cushion lower my required chairs down to one (unless the Owl of Minerva lied to me or there are chairs without the word ‘chair’ or ‘cushion’ in them)!

I also have the Platinum Cross Ring, however I’m scared to chaos it because I don’t wanna lose the attack (my current rings are better than it though, so I guess I’ll have to do it someday)! Too bad we can’t potential it in kMS… Speaking of Cross Hunter, I, along with the help of my friend Jay, created a quest guide/storyline for the Cross Hunter questline! Check it out~

After the cut, I have new information about Akyrum and his skills, as well as one of the things on my to-do list being crossed off!

During this patch, I also soloed Zakum for the first time ever! It was very exciting for me! It took me about 20 minutes, I’m hoping to cut that down by a lot later! Going to Zakum also let me know something else, all bosses, not just those that are accessible through the Mystic Gates, drop Cross Coins! It will be very easy to farm them in the future~

Akyrum, the new boss, is easy apparently, as it has been defeated already~ He drops the recipes for both the Dominator Pendant and the rings. He also drops Rocks of Time!

The Dominator Pendant recipe has changed! Instead of requiring three other pendants, you now need 10 Wisdom Crystals, 50 Pieces of Time, 50 Shards of Chaos, 30 Philosopher’s Stones, and 20 Constant’s Beginnings. Still not very easy!

This is the recipe for the Archlord’s Eternal Ring! It requires 2 Wisdom Crystals, 10 Shards of Chaos, 10 Philosopher’s Stones, and 40 Dream Pieces. The other Eternal Ring requires the same materials, and the Immortal set also is the same except they need LUK Crystals instead of Wisdom.

I think before, I said these rings were level 50 but I made a mistake, they’re actually level 30, so yeah, first tier haha. But their set bonuses are amazing!

Akyrum has many special skills. One of these is Damage Amplification, which increases the damage you take. You can be inflicted with this status up to three times, each time the number of arrows will increase by 1.

He can also petrify you! To get out, you have to quickly press the ← and → arrow keys to get the bar to go left! If you don’t do it in time and the bar reaches the skull, you die (no seriously)!

Sometimes, he will warp you into another map which is all black, and you’ll have to defeat… yourself?!

There’s also this attack. The screen ‘cracks’ and it does 999,999 damage… what? I don’t know if this is avoidable or not, since he didn’t do it while I was ‘fighting’ him, but I guess there’s one guaranteed death for everyone, unless you can use Holy Magic Shell, Smokescreen, or Shelter in time!
