MapleStory [Orca & Suu]!
Hey guys! Yesterday I posted a lot of information about MapleStory 2, since they released the Alpha client. Today though, they released information on the third update for this summer, the First Battle With the Black Mage [Orca & Suu]. There’s a lot of images and a video so read on!

Development for the ‘First Btle with the Black Mage [Orca & Suu]’ update which we mentioned in the Coordinator’s Invitation event is in full swing! As the MapleStory team works painstakingly on perfecting the content, we can tell you about the core story line and new things we are adding.
This story begins with the Maple Alliance and the Black Wings, along with content that explains Orca and Suu’s unknown story. Enter a new phase of the fight with the Black Mage! And you will end up meeting the newly renewed Resistance!
[Orca & Suu] is new content with features such as a blockbuster format. You can experience dynamic content fit for the name ‘blockbuster’, taking advantage of 2DPixel graphics and film production techniques.
The [Orca & Suu] content will be released on September 30. We will disclose some more information soon with our Developer’s Notes. Him and everyone else on the team are working to make the game more interesting for you. Thanks for your enthusiasm!
Wow this stuff looks super cool. All the artwork looks great, maybe we’ll finally be able to fight the Black Mage!
I think this is the same as the last monster (?) in the last pic, definitely looks menacing!
Looks like there will be some sort of aerial battle, I’m excited. In addition, the Resistance seem to be a large part of this storyline.

Anyhu, semi-excited about this plan but I want 5th job / complition of the rest of the jobs to be released BEFORE this final battle.

Here it goes now. The final battle until we finish the storyline. Now we can finally quit an say we finished the story o3o.
and then move on to ms2..
then when ms2 story finshes ms3 would be out….
and life goes on.

This isn’t the end. There’s way too much other stuff they have to do yet. This is only the fight with Gelimer. I wish people would stop treating this like they want to end the game with this patch.
Isn’t it kinda funny how close to Maplestory 2’s release they want to finally introduce the final battle with the Black Mage on Maplestory.. Hmmm very sneaky Nexon~
It’s not really the Black Mage. Look at the concept art. It features Gelimer, Orchid, and the Alliance. It seems we may finally fight GELIMER, which would end the Resistance story, but not the game. I don’t know why it’s called what it is, as the Black Mage isn’t being fought here.
