KMST ver. 1.2.167 – 2nd Mastery Core Changes

A test world patch containing changes to the 2nd Mastery Core skills as well as other overall skill changes, the return of Elite Monsters and Bosses in Grandis, a full update to Heroes of Maple’s story, and the new Outfit Preset system!

This patch does NOT contain the previously mentioned changes to Cubes and mesos. That should be in a separate patch that will happen after next week’s live server patch on January 18 (where the 2nd Mastery Cores will be released).

Hero

  • Rage Uprising VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Advanced Final Attack was not properly activated.

Paladin

  • Divine Charge VI:
    • The skill description has been changed.
  • Divine Stigma VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Sacred Bastion’s Light of Judgement was not activated.
    • Fixed an issue where this skill did not receive the effects of the V Matrix Enhancement Core.
  • Falling Justice:
    • The Hammer of Judgement has been changed to be summoned whenever Paladin’s directly used skills (except Common skills) hit an enemy.
    • The Hammer of Judgement’s number of hits has been increased from 4 to 6.
    • The Hammer of Judgement’s damage has been decreased from 2250% to 1300%.
    • A notice has been added that states cooldown reduction effects are not applied.
    • A notice has been added that states you will not take damage if it hits an enemy using Damage Reflect.
    • The skill description has been changed.
    • The reactivation cooldown will now be displayed as a buff icon.

Dark Knight

  • Dark Synthesis VI:
    • The skill effect has been changed.
    • The maximum number of enemies hit has been increased from 10 to 12.
    • Gungnir Descent VI’s damage boost has been increased from 129%p to 145%p.

Archmage (F/P)

  • Flame Haze VI:
    • The slow applied to enemies hit has been increased from 50% to 51%.
  • Mist Eruption VI:
    • The range at which a Mist can be exploded has been increased by 8% horizontally.

Archmage (I/L)

  • Frozen Orb VI:
    • A notice has been added that states you cannot hit a single enemy more than 20 times.
    • This skill has been changed to move in a straight line instead of falling off the edge of a platform.
    • The effect has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes the client would close.
    • The attack range has been moved upwards.
  • Blizzard VI:
    • The passive effect activation rate has been changed to be a constant value regardless of skill level.

Bishop

  • Triumph Feather VI:
    • The wing feather’s damage has been decreased from 620% to 570%.
    • A notice has been added that states if multiple wing feathers hit a single enemy, the later feathers’ final damage will be decreased by 50%.
  • Big Bang VI:
    • Fixed an issue where cooldown reset effects applied to Divine Explosion.

Bowmaster

  • Arrow Platter VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Flash Mirage was not activated.
    • Fixed an issue where Afterimage Shot’s passive effect was not activated.
  • Uncountable Arrows VI:
    • Fixed an issue where cooldown reset effects applied to Enhanced Uncountable Arrows.
    • Enhanced Uncountable Arrows’ cooldown will now be displayed as a buff icon.
    • Fixed an issue where Flash Mirage was not activated.
    • Fixed an issue where Afterimage Shot’s passive effect was not activated.
    • Fixed an issue where Afterimage Shot’s active effect’s attack duration was not increased.

Marksman

  • Piercing VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Ultimate Piercing VI’s action delay was not applied properly.
    • Fixed an issue where Charged Arrow could not be fired while using Piercing VI.
    • Fixed an issue where the monster hit effect sometimes displayed awkwardly.
    • Fixed an issue where if Piercing VI was registered 2 or more times in a skill macro, it would not be activated automatically.

Pathfinder

  • Cardinal Discharge VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Forsaken Relic’s Ancient Rage was not activated.
    • Fixed an issue where the required skills were applied incorrectly.

Night Lord

  • Mark of Assassin VI:
    • The damage has been increased from 460% to 615%.
    • Fixed an issue where the number of stars created was different than the skill description.

Shadower

  • Meso Explosion VI:
    • The damage has been increased from 240% to 300%.
    • Fixed an issue where the skill effect sometimes displayed awkwardly.
  • Bloody Explosion VI:
    • The damage has been increased from 240% to 300%.
    • The amount that the damage boost when attacking boss monsters increases based on the skill level has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where the skill effect sometimes displayed awkwardly.
    • Fixed an issue where hovering over Meso Explosion displayed Meso Explosion VI’s skill description.

Dual Blade

  • Asura VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the skill effect appeared awkwardly to other characters.

Viper

  • Sea Serpent VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Defense Form was not activated when Sea Serpent Burst VI hit an enemy.
    • Fixed an issue where Defense Form was not activated when Sea Serpent Enrage VI hit an enemy.
    • Fixed an issue where Sea Serpent Enrage VI’s skill effect was displayed awkwardly.
    • Fixed an issue where Sea Serpent Enrage VI’s skill effect appeared awkwardly to other characters.
  • Battleship Nautilus VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the cast action was not cancelled when using Screw Punch.

Captain

  • Battleship Bomber VI:
    • Fixed an issue where you could not move for a certain period of time after installing a Battleship.

Cannon Shooter

  • Mini Cannonball VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the effect appeared awkwardly to other characters.
  • Cannon Bazooka VI:
    • Cannon Buster VI’s damage boost effect has been removed.
  • Magnetic Anchor VI:
    • The damage has been decreased from 1250% to 790%.
    • The attack interval has been decreased by about 34%.
    • The skill description has been changed.

Mikhail

  • Royal Guard VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the cast effect was displayed awkwardly.
    • Fixed an issue where Advanced Offensive Defense was applied.
    • The 1st attack buff has been increased from 10 to 20.
    • The 2nd attack buff has been increased from 15 to 40.
    • The 3rd attack buff has been increased from 20 to 60.
    • The 4th attack buff has been increased from 30 to 80.
    • The 5th attack buff has been increased from 45 to 100.
    • The 1st counterattack’s damage has been increased from 1020% to 1170%.
    • The 2nd counterattack’s damage has been increased from 1150% to 1300%.
    • The 3rd counterattack’s damage has been increased from 1315% to 1500%.
    • The 4th counterattack’s damage has been increased from 1385% to 1570%.
    • The 5th counterattack’s damage has been increased from 1520% to 1745%.

Soul Master

  • Solunar Power:
    • Fixed an issue where if an enemy moved immediately after this skill activated, sometimes it would not hit.

Flame Wizard

  • Blazing Extinction VI:
    • The skill icon and effect have been changed.
    • You can now only hit a single enemy up to 10 times.
    • Fixed an issue where Decent Combat Orders and Combat Orders were applied.
    • Fixed an issue where if you used Orbital Flame during flame sphere, sometimes the Damage Skin would be displayed late.

Wind Breaker

  • Trifling Whim VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Trifling Whim – Reinforce was not applied.
    • Fixed an issue where Trifling Whim – Enhance was not applied.
    • The Spirit Energy’s damage has been increased from 495% to 525%.
    • The Enhanced Spirit Energy’s damage has been increased from 665% to 750%.

Striker

  • Thunderbolt VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the damage was constant regardless of skill level.
    • A notice has been added that states Thunderbolt Flash’s MP consumption.
    • Fixed an issue where Thunderbolt Flash’s buff icon had no skill description.
    • Fixed an issue where Thunderbolt Flash’s cooldown’s buff icon was displayed awkwardly.
    • Fixed an issue where Thunderbolt VI and Thunderbolt Flash did not activate Lightning Cascade’s active and passive effects.
    • This skill now also increases Lightning Strike’s Giant Thunderbolt’s damage by 360%p.

Aran

  • Boost End – Hunters Targeting VI:
    • Fixed an issue where if you used this skill in the air, the slam down attack would not be applied.
    • You can now cancel the skill end action with Final Blow, Beyonder, Fenrir Crash, Beyonder VI, Howling Swing, and Adrenaline Surge’s final strike.
    • The skill icon and effect have been changed.
    • The slam down attack’s damage has been increased from 650% to 1250%.
    • The number of shockwaves activated by the slam down attack has been increased from 5 to 6.
    • The keydown attack’s damage has been decreased from 700% to 580%.
    • The keydown atack’s maximum number of activations has been decreased from 25 to 20.
    • The skill description has been changed.
    • The invincibility duration after the skill ends has been increased from 1 second to 2 seconds.
    • Fixed an issue where Advanced Final Attack was not activated properly.

Evan

  • Circle of Thunder VI:
    • Fixed an issue where you could not cancel the cast action by using this skill with Circle of Mana.
    • Fixed an issue where Dive of Thunder was not activated.
    • Fixed an issue where Dragon Breath’s damage boost effect was applied.
    • Fixed an issue where Zodiac Ray’s magic circle would charge only 1 magic when this skill hit an enemy.
  • Dragon Swift VI:
    • The skill icon and effect have been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where Dragon Dive’s damage boost effect was applied.
    • Fixed an issue where Dragon Breath’s damage boost effect was applied.
    • Fixed an issue where Dragon Swift – Thunder Bonus Attack’s effect was not applied.
  • Swift of Thunder VI:
    • The skill icon has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where Dragon Dive’s damage boost effect was applied.

Luminous

  • Light Reflection VI:
    • The Larkness Gauge increase when you hit an enemy has been increased by about 10%.
    • The monster hit effect’s size has been decrased.
    • The monster hit effect and reflected light effect will now be displayed faster.
    • Fixed an issue where Liberation Orb’s passive effect was not activated.
    • Fixed an issue where the effect appeared awkwardly to other characters.
  • Endless Darkness:
    • This skill has been changed to increase the Larkness Gauge.
    • The damage has been decreased from 1770% to 1580%.
    • The number of hits has been increased from 4 to 5.
    • The skill description has been changed.

Mercedes

  • Leap Tornado VI:
    • The damage has been increased from 560% to 800%
    • Leap Tornado VI: Spirit Enchant’s damage has been increased from 635% to 880%.
    • Leap Tornado VI: Spirit Enchant will no longer be affected by cooldown reset effects.
    • Fixed an issue where using the character would not move upwards when using Leap Tornado VI: Spirit Enchant’s Still Mode.
    • Fixed an issue where Leap Tornado VI and Leap Tornado VI: Spirit Enchant did not create Ishtar’s Mark.
  • Legendary Spear VI:
    • Legendary Spear VI: Spirit Enchant will no longer be affected by cooldown reset effects.
    • Fixed an issue where Legendary Spear VI: Spirit Enchant’s re-enhancement cooldown was decreased when linking.
    • Fixed an issue where Legendary Spear VI and Legendary Spear VI: Spirit Enchant did not create Ishtar’s Mark.
  • Wrath of Enlil VI:
    • Wrath of Enlil VI: Spirit Enchant will no longer be affected by cooldown reset effects.
    • Fixed an issue where Wrath of Enlil VI: Spirit Enchant’s re-enhancement cooldown was decreased when linking.
    • Fixed an issue where Wrath of Enlil VI and Wrath of Enlil VI: Spirit Enchant did not create Ishtar’s Mark.
    • The Ishtar’s Mark creation damage boost has been increased from 185%p to 240%p.
    • The Ishtar’s Mark completion damage boost has been increased from 225%p to 290%p.

Phantom

  • Ultimate Drive VI:
    • The attack range has been increased by about 236%.
    • Fixed an issue where hitting an enemy would not stack the Mark of Phantom’s Master Thief Mark.
    • Fixed an issue where hitting an enemy would not create Noire Carte’s Reverse Card.
    • Fixed an issue where Decent Combat Orders and Combat Orders were applied.
    • The skill description has been changed.
  • Ultimate Drive: Fortune VI:
    • The damage has been decreased from 1120% to 490%.
    • The number of hits has been decreased from 8 to 6.
    • The maximum number of enemies hit has been decreased from 10 to 7.
    • Fixed an issue where hitting an enemy would not stack the Mark of Phantom’s Master Thief Mark.
    • Fixed an issue where hitting an enemy would not create Noire Carte’s Reverse Card.
  • Fate Shuffle:
    • Fixed an issue where you could not use this skill by clicking the skill icon in the skill UI.

Eunwol

  • Spirit Frenzy VI:
    • The skill description has been changed.
    • A notice has been added that states your speed is fixed while using this skill.
    • You can now only hit a single enemy up to 30 times.
    • The damage has been decreased from 384% to 270%.
    • The attack interval has been decreased by about 40%.

Blaster

  • Release Pile Bunker VI:
    • The skill description has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where Release Pile Bunker – Shock Wave Reinforce was not applied.
    • Fixed an issue where Release Pile Bunker – Bonus Guard was not applied.
    • Fixed an issue where Release Pile Bunker VI’s effect sometimes displayed awkwardly to other characters.
    • Fixed an issue where Afterimage Shock’s afterimage was not activated.
  • Burst Pile Bunker:
    • Fixed an issue where Release Pile Bunker – Bonus Guard was not applied.

Battle Mage

  • Finish Blow VI:
    • The skill description has been changed.
    • Union Aura’s Reaper’s Scythe damage is now increased by 50%p after learning this skill.
  • Battleking Bar:
    • Fixed an issue where Dark Genesis’ lightning attack was not activated properly.

Wild Hunter

  • Fixed an issue where Claw Cut VI, Provoke VI, Cross Road VI, Sonic Boom VI, Jaguar Soul VI, Rampage As One VI were not displayed on the Jaguar skill UI.
  • Claw Cut VI:
    • The damage has been increased from 675% to 700%.
    • Fixed an issue where Nature’s Belief’s Soul Resonance was not activated.
  • Cross Road VI:
    • The damage has been increased from 708% to 735%.
    • Fixed an issue where Nature’s Belief’s Soul Resonance was not activated.
  • Sonic Boom VI:
    • The damage has been increased from 702% to 728%.
    • Fixed an issue where Nature’s Belief’s Soul Resonance was not activated.
  • Jaguar Soul VI:
    • The damage has been increased from 445% to 462%.
    • Fixed an issue where Nature’s Belief’s Soul Resonance was not activated.
  • Flash Rain VI:

Xenon

  • Triangle Formation VI:
    • The skill description has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where if Triangle Formation VI was activated during another one of Xenon’s skills’ cast actions, the cast action would not be visible to other characters.
  • Hologram Graffiti VI:
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes the Energy Ball would appear like it wasn’t moving to other characters.
    • Fixed an issue where Penetrate and Force Field’s attacks were not applied properly.
    • Fixed an issue where Decent Combat Orders and Combat Orders were applied.

Mechanic

  • Homing Missile VI:
    • The number of enemies targeted has been increased from 11 to 12.

Demon Slayer

  • Demon Slash VI:
    • The skill description has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes Demonic Sphere did not activate during Demon Awakening.
    • Demon Awakening’s Enhanced Demon Slash’s damage boost has been decreased from 100%p to 80%p.
    • Fixed an issue where Nightmare’s Flames of the Underworld were not activated.
  • Demon Explosion VI:
    • The skill icon and effect have been changed.
    • The skill effect will now move with the character.
    • The attack range has been moved upwards.
    • This skill now applies an additional 60% critical rate.
    • This skill now increases Demon Impact VI’s damage by 70%p.
    • This skill now increases Demon Chain’s damage by 90%p.
    • Fixed an issue where Nightmare’s Flames of the Underworld were not activated.

Demon Avenger

  • Exceed: Execution VI:
    • The HEXA Core icon has been changed.
    • The defense ignore effect has been changed to 35% regardless of skill level.
    • Fixed an issue where Revenant’s Thorns of Rage were not activated.

Kaiser

  • Sword Strike VI:
    • The lower range has been increased by about 20%.
  • Will of Swords VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the Dragon Mark effect sometimes displayed awkwardly.
    • The skill description has been changed.

Kain

  • Strike Arrow VI:
    • The effect has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where using Possession while using Strike Arrow VI would not cancel Possession’s cast action.
  • [Possess] Strike Arrow VI:
    • Fixed an issue where using Possession while using [Possess] Strike Arrow VI would not cancel Possession’s cast action.
  • Scattering Shot VI:
    • Fixed an issue where using Possession while using Scattering Shot VI would not cancel Possession’s cast action.

  • Turning Drive VI:
    • The effect playing speed has been changed.
    • The skill description has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where Ego Weapon was not activated.
  • Wheel Wind VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the monster pulling attack did not apply the V Matrix Enhancement Core effect.
    • The skill icon and effect have been changed.

  • Rolling Curve VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Transcendent Rhinne’s Prayer’s additional hit was not activated.

  • Ultimate – Psychic Shot VI:
    • The skill effect has been changed.
    • The damage has been increased from 510% to 765%.
    • The number of hits has been increased from 3 to 4.
    • You can now only hit a single enemy up to 5 times.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes the bullets would be fired at abnormal speeds.

Adele

  • Tread VI:
    • The skill effect has been changed.

Illium

  • Level 40 Machina/Reaction: Domination II Enhancement has been added to the Mastery Core activation conditions.
  • Reaction: Domination VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the V Matrix Enhancement Core effects were not applied.
  • Glory Wings: Mortal Wingbeat VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Enchant Javelin’s damage boost was constant regardless of skill level.
    • Fixed an issue where MP was consumed abnormally.

Khali

  • Void Rush VI:
    • The skill icon has been changed.
    • The HEXA Core description has been changed.
  • Void Blitz VI:
    • The skill icon has been changed.
    • The skill effect has been changed.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes the Custom Command would not activate.
    • Fixed an issue where Chakri would not be created if Arts/Hex skills were cancelled with Void Blitz VI.
  • Hex: Chakram Split VI:
    • The skill icon has been changed.

Ark

  • Insatiable Hunger VI:
    • This skill now permanently enhances Unstoppable Impulse and Tenacious Instinct, increasing their damage by 250%p.

Lara

  • Dragon Vein Eruption VI:
    • Fixed an issue where the effect that increased Eruption skills’ damage based on summon duration was not applied.
    • Fixed an issue where Dragon Vein Eruption VI could not be used while moving with Expression: Where the River Flows.
  • Eruption: Sunrise Well VI:
    • The volcanic bomb’s damage has been decreased from 608% to 480%.
    • The maximum number of times volcanic bombs are created has been increased from 5 to 7.

Hoyoung

  • Heaven: Iron Fan Gale VI:
    • Fixed an issue where Sage: Three Paths Apparition’s clone did not appear when hitting an enemy.
    • Fixed an issue where Enlightenment’s damage boost effect was applied.
  • Earth: Ground Shattering Wave VI:
    • The skill icon has been changed.

  • The system message that stated Sol Janus could not be used in places where skills could not be used will no longer be displayed continuously.

  • Fixed an issue where Soul Contract’s skill icon appeared awkwardly when it was inactive.

Improvements

Authentic Force Map

Runes in Authentic Force maps have become instanced.

  • Only the characters occupying and using the Authentic Force map can summon Runes.
  • Only the character who directly summoned the Rune can use it. The Rune is not visible to other characters.
  • If there is no Rune cooldown applied to the character, a Rune can be summoned.
  • If you leave the map without using a summoned Rune, the Rune will be removed.
  • If you leave a map without using a Rune and defeat a monster in another map, the same type of Rune as the previously summoned Rune will be summoned instantly.

Elite Boss’ Curses in Authentic Force maps have become instanced.

  • If a character does not use a Rune for a certain period of time after summoning it, the Elite Boss’ Curse will be applied.
  • The Elite Boss’ Curse applied in an Authentic Force map can only be removed by using a Rune.

Elite Monsters and Elite Champions have become instanced.

  • Only the character who summoned the Elite Monster/Elite Champion can defeat them. They are not visible to other characters.
  • If you leave the map without defeating an Elite Monster/Elite Champion, they will be removed.

Elite Bosses will now appear in Authentic Force maps.

  • Only the characters using the map when the Elite Boss is summoned can defeat it.
  • Players who deal damage to the Elite Boss can acquire experience and item rewards.
  • When you defeat an Elite Boss that appeared in an Authentic Force map, you will receive a higher amount of experience rewards than other Elite Bosses.
  • If you leave the map or die without defeating the summoned Elite Boss, you can no longer defeat that Elite Boss.
  • The Elite Bosses that appear in Authentic Force maps have been changed to have only one attribute.
  • Authentic Force maps’ Elite Boss Monster collection registration conditions have been changed.
    • Evading Shapeshifter Great Flame Spirit → Shapeshifter Great Flame Spirit
    • Sturdy Undead Lef Commander → Sturdy Lef Commander

The Midnight Party UI’s Weekly/Daily Party tabs have been improved to be more visible.

It has been improved so that in certain maps in boss battles, the Dream Fragment/Night Fragment/Dance Fragment UI will no longer cover the screen.

The Maple Union UI has been improved.

  • The visibility of certain UI elements has been improved.
  • The shape of the icon representing Artifact Points has been changed to be unified, and it has been improved so that hovering over it now displays an Artifact Point information tooltip.
  • It has been improved so that when you press the O on the Artifact Mission Completion and the Crystal Expiry alerts, it will open the Union Artifact UI.
  • It has been improved so that if you have Special Mission that can be completed, the Special Mission tab in the Artifact Mission UI will display a tag.

The images of certain shortcut keys that were difficult to read due to narrow character spacing have been changed.

You can now directly use items within Scroll, Recipe, and Soul Bags.

  • It has been changed so that you must drag and drop from the Scroll, Recipe, and Soul Bags to take out items.
  • When using Rebirth Flame items, the ones inside bags will be used first.
  • The Zero Weapon Window will now also display enhancement items inside bags.

  • Certain special items, like quest items, cannot be registered.

It has been improved so that you can register up to 30 items per pet for the Pet Loot Item Ignore.

Presets

Outfit presets have been improved so that you can equip Cash items that provide stats and cosmetic Cash items separately.

  • A ‘Preset’ button has been added to the bottom of the Equipment window > Cash tab. The Outfit Presets window has been separated.
  • Items equipped in the Equipment window > Cash tab will be automatically shared until another item is equipped in the Outfit Preset. If you have items that are required for all combinations, you can equip them in the Equipment window > Cash tab and share them with the Outfit Presets.
  • Items equipped and applied in the Outfit Presets will overwrite items equipped in the Equipment window > Cash tab.
  • Only the stats of items equipped in the Equipment window > Cash tab will be applied. Stat effects will not be applied when equipped in the Outfit Presets.
  • The Outfit Preset items applied before the update will be maintained in the Equipment window > Cash tab. The other presets that were not applied will be maintained in the Outfit Presets.
  • The items can only be equipped when the Outfit Preset is ‘Applied’.
  • If you want to equip a cosmetic item in your inventory to an Outfit Preset by double-clicking on it, you can do so by checking the ‘Equip Item by Double-Clicking’ button.
  • If you press the ‘Release’ button in the Outfit Preset, the Outfit Preset will no longer be applied and the items you have equipped in the Equipment window > Cash tab will be visible.

Ability resetting has been improved.

  • When you click the Reset button in the Ability window, the selected Preset will now be displayed by default in the Reset window instead of the currently applied Preset.
  • The name of the ‘Use’ button in the Ability Reset window has been changed to ‘Reset Ability’.
  • After clicking the ‘Reset’ button in the Ability Reset window, it has been improved so that the Preset information being reset will be displayed one more time.
