KMST ver. 1.2.132 – Guild Skill Point Changes
A small test server patch was released last night for the stuff we’ll be getting next week, which includes changes to getting guild skill points and the return of the Toben Hair Hero event who is now aiming for the Dark Boss set! You can even get the new Fantasy Item Damage Skin, since Dark Boss drops are a fantasy.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t contain any information about the winter update, which confirms that the first patch will be on December 30 (for the official server). This means that the next KMST update we can look forward to should be around either December 16 if they have stuff that needs two weeks of testing or December 23 if it’s going to be a smaller patch.
MapleStory Winter Update Interviews
Today a few different Korean news sites released interviews with MapleStory’s director Kang Won-ki and the planning team director Kim Chang-seop, where they talked about the direction the winter update will be taking and what things we can expect. They also confirmed that the Winter update will take place at the end of December, and they are currently working on the Winter update showcase.
This includes the now titled Adventurer Remaster, where all the Adventurer classes will be updated with new skill effects and improvements to their skill mechanics. Only three jobs have been previewed (Dark Knight, Marksman, Captain) but I’m not sure if they will wait to show off the other jobs until the showcase comes out.
KMS ver. 1.2.356 – Wanna Be Maple Idol!
This patch includes the Foggy Forest Training Centre, a new feature in Mu Lung Dojo that lets you customize monsters and test your damage, as well as a couple events: Wanna Be Maple Idol and I Haven’t Done Anything. These events end on December 8 so we should be getting a test server patch on December 1, which could be the first part of the winter update (although it will probably just be a small pre-update patch).
KMST ver. 1.2.131 – Foggy Forest Training Centre & Other Improvements
A new test server patch has been released. This one is pretty small, there’s a new feature available in Mu Lung Dojo that makes it a lot easier to test your damage and a bunch of improvements/bug fixes. There’s also the event we’ll have for the next month and the return of the I Didn’t Do Anything event.
KMS ver. 1.2.352 – Maple LIVE: Guardian Angel Slime!
The third and final patch of the Maple LIVE update has been released. It contains the new boss, Guardian Angel Slime, meant to fill in the ranges between Normal Demian and Easy Lucid (Hard mode) and between Hard Will and Chaos Dusk (Chaos mode). There is also the boss rewards reorganization, various QoL improvements from the Voice of Maplers initiative, and new daily content for Morass and Esfera.
There were a few changes from the test server update to this one, and they released a notice with the details. I’ll put that at the beginning of the post for people who read the KMST notes.
