No, you’re not reading it wrong. Although there is no active testing period for MapleStory 2, the developers have decided they will release patch notes for their in-house development!

kMS ver. 1.2.227 – Maple Ice & Burn: Mechanical Grave!
The second patch of the Winter update, Maple Ice & Burn, has been released! This one includes the new level 200+ area, some minigame updates as well as system changes and skill changes.
MapleStory Alpha Test Conclusion
The Alpha test for MapleStory 2 has finally come to a close. After 5 days of testing, the development team is going to take in all suggestions and reports and work hard to improve the game for the next stage of testing (TBA)! They also gave out 10k NX to everyone and will give out a special mask later on. I’m sad I didn’t get in but there was a lot of information from other users, and I can honestly say I am sooo hyped to play.
This is going to be a post about any extra information I have come across, so I suggest you read these posts beforehand if you haven’t already. Anyways, I’ll start with the above picture, which should look familiar to you guys, it’s Someone Else’s House! Mushmom returns in her original map, complete with the iron pigs haha.
MapleStory 2 – Alpha Test Begins!
Today marks the first day of the Alpha test for MapleStory 2! A lot of users have been posting screenshots and videos, which is all I can share with you since I didn’t get in myself. Still, there’s a lot of information and this game looks really good in my opinion!
