MapleStory: Heroes of Maple!
MapleStory’s next big update is called MapleStory: Heroes of Maple! As the name would imply, it’s focused on the 6 legendary heroes of Maple World. The first patch, releasing on November 12, is called REBORN and will feature the newly updated Aran and Evan as well as other updated game features.
The second patch, on December 3, will include MapleStory’s 2nd Blockbuster (which I assume is titled Heroes of Maple). In the preview video above, you can see that all of the heroes have received updated artwork! Aran is also confirmed as being canonically female I guess haha.
- The elves’ ruler fighting against fate, Mercedes
- The female polearm warrior that dominates the battlefield, Aran
- The legendary thief who can get his hands on anything, Phantom
- The magician on the boundary between light and darkness, Luminous
- The dragon masters’ last descendant, Evan
- The hero whose past is hidden in the shadows, EunWol

Blockbuster is coming.
A teaser image was released on the MapleStory homepage’s Developers’ Notes page. Looks like the next patch will be a new blockbuster, featuring the 6 heroes: Phantom, Mercedes, Aran, Luminous, Evan, and EunWol! Maybe Aran and Evan will finally get their long-long-long-long-long awaited update haha.
The end of the last blockbuster, Black Heaven, teased the appearance of Damien as the newest enemy, will he be fighting against the heroes this time?
kMS ver. 1.2.245 – Job Balancing & Spinelwagon’s 2015 World Tour!
This patch came to the official servers a lot faster than I thought haha. Anyways, this patch contains skill changes to every job (if I looked correctly), various system changes by the Coordinator, and the 2015 World Tour event!
There were additional skill changes to the Test World patch so look closely!
kMSt ver. 1.2.019 – More Job Balancing!
Like I said in my last post, a new Test World patch has been released! This one includes skill changes to 33 jobs, as well as various system changes, a new type of event, and some changes to Reboot World as well. I have added data for all skill changes except for Kinesis!
This patch will most likely be coming to the official servers on September 24, so there is still time for further changes.
kMS ver. 1.2.238 – MapleStory Reboot: Character Balancing!
The first patch this summer’s MapleStory: Reboot update has been released! This patch contains character balancing for over 30 jobs, as well as some changes to the Star Force system and the new Battle Statistics system.
The Reboot update will take place over 5 patches, including changes to levelling, stats, and equipment, a new 2D skeleton animation graphics engine and a new job Kinesis, the Reboot world, a reorganized Mu Lung Dojo and Korean Folk Town and finally a new 18-person raid boss Urs!
