MapleStory FLY!
The MapleStory homepage has been updated with a new intro page, this time revealing our next big update! For the next few months, we’ll be seeing MapleStory FLY! Although there’s literally no information included, the first patch will be on September 12 and it might feature a Resistance reorganization? I think I also heard that Nexon was planning on updating the heroes as well, but take that with a grain of salt. Anyways, just like RED, it’s an acronym.

kMS ver. 1.2.195 – Job Balancing & Riena Strait!
A small aside from the exciting Adventurer revamps brings some job balancing for Battlemages, Xenon, Aran, Evan, Mercedes, Luminous, and Kaiser, along with the new theme dungeon Riena Strait! There is also a new boss mode and some other changes that might interest you.
Oh yeah, a really old event that I think a lot of people liked has returned… see the end of the post for more information!
kMSt ver. 1.2.479 – Archer Reorganization and Other Skill Changes!
A new patch has been released to Tespia, this time with the Archer reorganization (finally!)! It also includes some more changes to Warriors and Mages as well as Battlemages, Aran, Evan, Mercedes, and Xenon. There was also a new theme dungeon released along with the Auction House system. Did you notice the new archer’s hairpin is the old cursor? What a cute throwback!
I am in love with the new archer changes (except for the skill effects, Bowmasters should be red, not green! Also Uncountable Arrow is actually so ugly). Bowmasters rely on quick repositioning and rapid fire attacks while Marksman stop monsters in their tracks and move further away to do more damage!
kMS ver. 1.2.194 – Wild Hunter Reorganization, Job Balancing, Fairy Academy and Crimsonwood PQ! [updated]
The previous Tespia patch has come to the real server, but there is one large difference. Battlemage was not changed, their skills are the same as before. I wonder if this is because people were not happy with it? I don’t know about you guys but I think the new animations fit the Resistance a lot better than the dark ones (albeit this is a really late change).
Anyways, Wild Hunter received some changes and new skills while 9 other jobs were balanced. They released a new theme dungeon as well as a party quest, so read on! Adventurer creation has been blocked! What does this mean? Will RED be coming sooner than expected?
MapleStory RED!
At MapleStory 1st Festival, they have released information about this year’s summer update, MapleStory RED! Some of it is really exciting! I’m looking most forward to the Black Mage storyline additions, and obviously a certain reorganization~
Another conference will be held in June, giving further information.
