KMS ver. 1.2.359 – MapleStory Destiny: Starlight Symphony!
The first patch of the MapleStory Destiny update has been released! This contains a ton of quality of life improvements from the Voice of Maplers initiative as well as new boss difficulties and a new boss accessory set. And of course, the winter update events like the Starlight Symphony and Burning World.
The next test world update will be on January 6 and that’s when we’ll see the full Adventurer remaster! The MapleStory team also announced the Destiny Live Talk, a live broadcast that will be held on January 5 at 6PM KST where they’ll give some more detailed information about the update and have a Q&A session with players.
Talking About What was Lacking in the Destiny Showcase
A new letter has been posted on the MapleStory homepage, written by the director of MapleStory, Kang Won-ki. Since the Destiny showcase, some players have been sharing their thoughts on the update schedule and the content being added. There were players that were mad the Adventurer remaster would be coming so late, or that they would have to remake their equips for the new level 250 set, things like that.
Director Won-ki’s letter talks about the showcase and how they may have not explained their intentions clear enough.
KMST ver. 1.2.133 – Maple Guide Update & New Boss Difficulties
The test world was opened about an hour after the MapleStory Destiny showcase yesterday. As mentioned before, this one does not contain the Adventurer remaster, that will be released in the test server on January 6. Instead, this one has the new Maple Guide update, new boss difficulties, and a new boss accessory set.

MapleStory Destiny Showcase!
Earlier today, the MapleStory Destiny Showcase took place, where Nexon showed off all the things we’re getting in this winter update, which includes the Adventurer remaster, boss changes, Voice of Mapler improvements, and the 2021 winter events. The video is timestamped and you can watch through it yourself, but I’ll have a translated summary of sorts below.
In addition, the test server opened soon after with some of the things from the video. I’ll cover that in a separate post which should be up later tonight!
Probability Monitoring System – Nexon Now
Not really the post people were waiting for today probably but a few hours before the Destiny update showcase, Nexon has released the Probability Monitoring System ‘Nexon Now’. This is the real-time probability data that they said they would introduce so players could see all the rates of the different things in-game! Here’s the link to check it out.
