MapleStory Winter Showcase: MapleStory Savior!
The winter showcase event was held a few hours ago, revealing the next update, MapleStory Savior! The update summary graphic was actually leaked like 20 minutes before the stream started and they said to pretend that no one saw it lol. Like the rest of these videos, they’re pretty long so I’ll just summarize the main points. This includes levelling, Symbol, and Star Force related improvements, job balancing, the new area Shangri-La with a new boss Kaling, and a new job, the High-Lef thief Khali, the Wind of Revenge.
The test server was also updated afterwards with everything except Shangri-La/Kaling. It’s a big patch and I’m going to be a bit busy the next few days so I’m not sure when that post will be out.

Just like I said last week, this one’s a really small patch. There’s some convenience improvements, a pretty barebones new event (it even reuses past rewards lol), and they brought back Maple Soccer for a week because of the world cup going on right now.
Not much else to say, but the winter update showcase will be on December 15 so look forward to that in a few weeks!

The fall patch contains an update to Dimensional Library that allows you to replay past stories, as well as various events. This includes Super Yeti X Pink Bean World where you can create Yeti and Pink Bean characters, Camila’s Autumn Flea Market where you can buy past event cosmetic items, Gold Richie’s Secret Safe where you can win some big prizes, and I Haven’t Done Anything where you can get experience without having to do anything!
There’s also a small Spooky Halloween event with some really nice cosmetic rewards, and they decorated the towns for the first time in a while, which looks great!

Last week’s test patch has come to the official servers, with the reorganization of the Boss UI as well as the addition of the Boss Automatic Matching system. There’s also three events: Tactical Relay Ver. 4, Super Haste, and the World’s Best Punch King!
KMS ver. 1.2.368 – MapleStory Ignition: Odium & Maple Vision Talk!
The third and final patch of the MapleStory Ignition update, Odium, has been released. It includes job balancing, the new level 275 area Awakened Laboratory: Odium, as well as various convenience improvements. It also has this year’s Chuseok event, where the summer event’s Ignition Fireworks Festival turns into the Ignition Full Moon Party and the collaboration event with BTS Jin!
In addition, before the patch, they released the 2022 Maple Vision Talk, where Wong-ki talked about MapleStory’s general direction going forward.
Edit: There was a minor patch the next day with a few additional skill changes and bug fixes. I’ll include the skill changes in the main section marked in red but I’ll put the rest in its own section at the bottom.
