kMS ver. 1.2.238 – MapleStory Reboot: Character Balancing!
The first patch this summer’s MapleStory: Reboot update has been released! This patch contains character balancing for over 30 jobs, as well as some changes to the Star Force system and the new Battle Statistics system.
The Reboot update will take place over 5 patches, including changes to levelling, stats, and equipment, a new 2D skeleton animation graphics engine and a new job Kinesis, the Reboot world, a reorganized Mu Lung Dojo and Korean Folk Town and finally a new 18-person raid boss Urs!
Developers’ Note – MapleStory Reboot Update Introduction!
A new Developers’ Note has been released, this time talking about specific parts of the MapleStory Reboot update! The first patch of this update will be released to the official server on June 25 and will include the character balancing which has been going on in the test servers so far.
kMS ver. 1.2.234 – MapleStory’s 12th Anniversary!
Today’s patch is celebrating 12 years of MapleStory! (wow that’s basically how long we’ve been waiting for 5th job since they revealed it at the RED conference!) A lot of events have been added and some game systems have been changed, including the Maple Guide, party quests, and hunting maps!
There’s also some information about a few future updates and a new post for MapleStory 2 talking about the maid system!
MapleStory 2 – Final Test Applications & kMSt ver. 1.2.008 – Dynamic Hunting Changes!
The Final Test applications for MapleStory 2 have finally been opened! They released a teaser video where you can actually see the new classes: Berserker, Heavy Gunner, and Thief. If you guys have a verified Nexon Korea account, you can apply here by pressing the big blue hexagon! I can’t make a guide as I have already been a tester before so I don’t even see any popup, but if you guys need help, you can post in the comments and I’ll try and help you out 🙂
In addition, a new Test World patch has been released! This one includes the 12th Anniversary as well as a ton of changes to hunting and party questing~ I won’t be covering the events until it hits the actual server, but the other changes are very cool.
kMS ver. 1.2.232 – Creation 12: Development – The SEED R!
The second patch of the Development part of the Creation 12 update has been released, including updates to The SEED R, Xerxes of Chryse party quest, and game system changes. There are even some SEED changes that weren’t in Tespia!
