KMST ver. 1.2.166 – New Mastery Cores!
As mentioned previously, the new 6th job Mastery Cores have been released in the test server! You should remember that these are still in testing and both the visuals and numerical values can be changed in the future. They will be released in the official server on January 18 so there’s about 3 weeks left for them to have additional patches. There’s probably going to be at least one more that includes new events.

The Angelic Buster remaster has hit the test server! This patch seems to be mostly visual update related, including her illustrations and skills with some QoL improvements sprinkled in. There are no sound effects or voice lines, and they even removed the tutorial story quests so I assume that’s what next week’s test patch will bring (along with corresponding events). In addition, released the second part of the teaser page, which is an interview with Angelic Buster herself!
They also snuck in a couple of cooldown changes to both the Angelic Buster link skill and the Genesis weapon iframe!

The 2023 MapleStory Summer Showcase – New Age took place earlier today, where they showed off all of the things coming this summer, including the long-awaited 6th job!!
If you guys watched Steve’s stream or looked at my Twitter, you would know that Steve, Neo, and I were invited to the showcase as well! It was an amazing experience being in the crowd when such a huge announcement was made! We also got to briefly meet Director Kang Wongki (again) and Planning Team Leader Kim Changseop before they went on stage! I won’t be making a separate post about the day but I’ll include some photos in this one just to show what it looked like live.
I translated the showcase itself but I won’t be adding images because the pictures I took were not as good as the ones directly from the stream and I’m too lazy lol. However, it’s in the same order as the stream so you can follow along in another tab.
Also, the test world opened today with the game improvements and other changes (not 6th job, that will be on June 22). I’ll work on that later, maybe Monday!

Today they released some more information about the 2023 summer showcase for the MapleStory New Age update! With these extra details, it seems like this update will be pretty big and quite exciting! The venue itself is huge, they have additional ways to watch it this time, and the teased teasers (lol) look like they’re hinting towards something important.
Read more…KMS ver. 1.2.372 – MapleStory Savior: Fairy Wonky’s Wongstaurant!
The first patch of the MapleStory Savior update has been released! It includes various improvements to the overall growth experience, the Star Force system, and many skill changes. The main event for this winter, Fairy Wonky’s Wongstaurant, has also begun!
I tried out some new things in the post including anchor links to/from the overview, which I think will be pretty useful. Also I decided to stop covering Cash Shop updates since the rotations are never the same for every version lol. However, I’ll still add the more important information such as new Master Label/vac pet rotations and things like the BLACKPINK collaboration.
