KMS ver. 1.2.363 – MapleStory’s 19th Anniversary: Maple Momentree!
MapleStory is turning 19 years old! The 19th anniversary, Maple Momentree, will take place over the next two months. This patch also includes a ton of quality of life changes, a new boss matching system, story updates, and skill improvements!
The Maple Live Talk will take place on May 1 and will probably be our first glimpse of what’s coming up after this. If I had to guess, May’s patch will include the aforementioned Mu Lung Dojo and Union expansions and then June will be our summer patch with the Cygnus remaster and Odium.
2022 Maple Live Talk Announced
The 2022 Maple Live Talk‘s date has been announced! The Maple Live Talk is similar to the user conference from last year and the Destiny Live Talk from this January. It will take place at the Blue Square performance hall in Seoul on May 1 at 2 PM KST. There will be two main parts: an FAQ for things that many players are curious about, and an online real-time Q&A with the general director Kang Won-ki and the planning team director Kim Chang-seop.
On the official homepage, players can now submit any questions they want answered and sign up to attend the event in-person as well. Only a total 50 players will be invited, but the event will be livestreamed on the MapleStory Youtube channel like before.
Discussion Topic Selection & Background Information (3/24 ~ 4/25)
The MapleStory team has chosen the next discussion board topic, opinions about reorganizing the official homepage guides for new and returning players.
KMS ver. 1.2.362 – Super Haste & Camila’s Pop-Up Store!
This patch contains some job balancing and improvements like reward phases in various bosses as well as the Super Haste and Camila’s Pop-Up Store events! They also added a couple more from KMST, the Jisoo in your MAPLE event (for the MapleStory Ambassador Jisoo) and an April Fool’s Day event.
MapleStory Ambassador – BLACKPINK’s Jisoo
Since MapleStory began, over 100 million heroes from all across the world have enjoyed MapleStory, and this program is meant to shine a spotlight on some of the heroes from all walks of life who spread good influence both in Korea and abroad.
The first Ambassador was the Olympian archer Kim Je-Deok, and the second is BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, a member of the world-famous K-pop group! BLACKPINK in your (MapleStory) area!
Edit: (March 14 at 5:55 PM EST) A second episode was released with some more questions for Jisoo, so I updated the post with more translations.
